It look me less than 3 hours but i'm more than satisfied. The game was awesome. Great fun.

Yeah, I don't like the idea of episodes. I'd rather play a complete product from start to finish that's gonna take me a few hours. Then again, 3 hours x 3 episodes = 9 hours ain't much.

Also, I don't understand why you played through it so quickly. It took me roughly 16 hours to get through HL2 the first time (others claimed 8 for themselves), not because I suck at the game, but because I had fun exploring and looking at things and just generally screwing around.
I think if you blast through a game as fast as possible you really aren't playing it for the right reasons.

It didn't. They were just riding off while the Citadel exploded and flashed Gordon with a blinding light. Big difference. And what the are you complaining about? Did you ENJOY the game? If you did then wouldn't you say it was worth it?

That's an incredibly stupid agruement with Star Wars. Valve themselves said it would TAKE A LONG, LONG, LONG, time. I know they were just exagerrating the 22 years it would take, but they made their point.

Same, but Valve have to make the damn thing first.

Think about it this way. Imagine if Valve made one long sequel, stretching into 20 hours of gameplay or something. We'd all have to wait two or three years to play it, and by then the HL2 engine would be so frikkin' outdated there wouldn't be anything special about it. However, episodic delivery means we get a decent amount of gameplay, a hell of a lot of story, all with a reasonable wait time (6 months isn't too bad). Plus the episodes are only going to get better in quality as Valve start adding some really cool effects to the Source engine, updating the graphics, gathering feedback from players, altering the structure etc. etc...
