Hi, when I start de episode two I can see this error, I donwload the file gameinfo.txt for Half life 2, then I put the file into the folder hl2 but when I start the game, I don't see the error but the game "minimize" very quickly after I start it and the hide it. What can I do?

Go to Steam. Right click on Episode Two and select properties. Go to the local files tab and click the button that says verify the integrity of the game cache.

First of all, make sure you bought the game.
