Yes about them, no, not about that forture/misfortune whatsoever.

Just want to know, would you like to see metrocops helping the rebels as they really have nowhere else to go now (Unless they start a metro comunity which will proabbly result in a war)

I'd love to see them help you, but knowing they're going to have to face the music sometime later, but still have a heart. Its like mossman, allowing here to comeback to the resistance though she did betray them.

Maybe but I believe that the whole Mossman betrayal was already planned right from the beginning so that's a different story. Although it would be cool, I think that remaining metrocops are the rebels we already see.

Nah. All that pent up butt-hurt's gotta go somewhere.

No! Mowing the metrocops down is one of the most satisfying parts of HL2(anti-citizen one) because of how weak their body armor is.

Guess what. Some of them are Rebels, LandStander. You are mean. They DO NOT have the awesome "operation" as Soldiers, Prison Guards, and Elites. They're ordinary cops, but some were just chosen and most of them did work as Metrocops. Some were like Barney. But you killed them! D:

Maybe they didnt. Maybe freeman is autistic after all and murder peaple he didnt really know.

None of the metro cops would have helped the resistance, if they wanted to live afterwards that is, Barney was the only person brave enough to hang around behind the enemy lines.

Nope. CP's are bad guys, thats established right from the start in HL2: "Pick up that can! Now put it in the bin! Hahaha!" Mossman wasn't bad, just misguided. I'm not sure I'd trust her again though, assuming she wasn't a plant in the first place.

Yeah that felt good, especially after the beatings at the beginning. Revenge is sweet.

I think that any chicken shit CP's still hanging around if they've any sense at all will be ditching their uniforms and putting on civilian clothes and hoping not to be noticed in the crowd. The same thing as happened with the other fascist police the Stazi, Nazi collaboraters, etc.

The soldiers are too far gone I think, surgically modified by the Combine, etc. They have to throw in their lot with them, assuming they have any free will left at all.

Haha, kind've like the marine's appearing to be all bad at first, but realising after there's a far larger enemy there...

Maybe you get to dress up like a metrocop :p Like in bioshock you dress up as a big daddy.

'...any chicken shit metro-cop that is having second thoughts about defending city 17', I think that makes it clear that the metro-cops were ordered to stay and defend the city as long as possible, as the combine overwatch knew they were human and knew that they would turn on their benofactors the second they knew the combine citadel was destoryed, especially if the overwatch knew of Magnusson's rocket and knew his intentions to shut down the portal, which they clearly did.

Some Metrocops may have ditched their uniforms and jumped ship after seeing the Combine take the beating it did. Others may remain loyal to the Combine. However, we will almost certainly not see CP's so far from City 17 because of the obvious reason of distance and the fact that the CP force has been scattered widely already.

So if it's been scattered so widely... why wouldn't they be there?

'Cause Mossman is the only one with a real set of "melons" you hear?

Oh. And there will be combine there. If they "know" about the Borealis

Well, uh, they really do have some humanity left in them :cheese:

Whilst it makes sense that Metrocops would U-turn on Combine loyalty, it makes far less sense to actually show it, since the most effective way of doing so would be to ditch your metrocop uniform in the confusion and catch the train out of the city with the rest of the citizens. I mean, it always seemed to me that Metrocops would just go home in the evening after a day of beatings and live amongst the other citizens without those citizens evening knowing for sure that they were housed with metrocop scum.

Seems a bit asking for it, tell you the truth. Wouldn't it make more sense to have separate quarters? Better food, better living, better sex: become a metrocop today!

Yes. Especially because during civillian raids, you wouldn't want to be caught with a bunch of rebels.
