Heya hl2.net! It's not my place to ask, or to pressure the establishment; but i was feeling that the creation of Sulkdodd's "Miscellaneous" thread in "the Lounge" into a sticky wouldn't be a bad idea. It is a recurring thread which has huge popularity and it has been recommended by a few that it should be stickied. It is an effective thread which allows the users to discuss outside factors in their life, which in turn, brings the community closer together. I would imagine that many would think that it would be a means for spam within the thread and Lounge, but if it is used responsibly, it could have an effective purpose.

Once again, Miscellaneous isn't my thread and this network isn't my administration. Perhaps a trial period to demonstrate it's effectiveness or efficiency as a sticky won't go astray? (hell, Hectic gave out some infractions when it went through the spammy stage. Now i feel that most understand the purpose of the thread and not to spam it up. I could be wrong. Hell, i remember when Ennui went through he's anti-spam stage concerning Anna Nicole Smith and Britany Spears).

The purpose of the poll is to get the gyst of Hl2.net about the sticky of this thread.

Cheers

It shouldn't be stickied.

It's such a great thread though and serves such a useful purpose, that it'll constantly be up on first page, so there's no need to sticky it. I think stickying it will just make it less visited and used as odd as that sounds.

Why would we sticky some random thread that isn't needed?

Image Dump begs to differ.

Most of the other stickies don't.

I don't think it needs to be stickied, it's always on the front page anyway and it doesn't really necessitate a sticky.

It will survive as long as it has interest. Stickies are generally for threads which are important, but won't get the attention required to keep them in the forefront.

Ok, cheers for that, just wanted to get the general consensus :)
