I guess the mod forum has been taken off or movied. Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone would be creating a mod based on the war in Iraq, or even create a few maps for CS based on the war. I dunno, considering all the crap Al-Quida has put us through, you'd think some of us would cut through the "politically correct" BullS**t and just say how most of us probably feel. :flame:

...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Iraq had nothing to do with Al-Quida, don't kid yourself there.

(See "General Editing", and no, this not a very good idea)

Did you really think that Iraq and Al-Queda were the same thing?
Perhaps some people should pay more attention to the '"politically correct" BullS**t'.

I'm okay with a mod based on the war in Afghanistan though, since, y'know they actually had ties to Al-Queda.

lol :P *63 prays* *please don't be Canadian*

Wow, directly refusing to conform to said 'political correctness' is just asking to gain a bashing from many people, both the reasonable and unreasonable.

Closest thing to this is Promised land. If you took their type of stance ('unbiased') such a mod my stand a chance. But like this, over 75% of all people will shoot your idea down.

I hear you, but don't even try to make such a politically motivated mod.

[SARCASM]Anyone up for a President shoot-em up? Play as conservatives or liberals! Blast Bush! Kill Kerry![/SARCASM]

Before the US attacked, yes.

But now Al-Qaeda insurgents are swarming all over the place hunting US and British troops, so it is feasible that you could fight Al-Qaeda in an Iraq based mod.

So in conclusion: most of the killing that has gone since the war officially ended has been by terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda, or those with links to Al-Qaeda, therefore it's stupid to laugh at what he said.

True, but the way he worded things made it sound like he meant the initial fighting.

Who would ever have guessed killing innocent muslims could have pissed off fanatic Islamic fundamentalist terrorist groups?

Jesus, I can't properly reply to this topic without going on a long tanget about how much bullshit this is.

So instead... +1

ok, in admit i was wrong in which country, k? All I was saying was, why not get a few guys that are/were in the "war on terror" and make a mod out of it? I mean, this IS america, and didn't they create a game purely on true events, only changing names and locations? (soldier of fortune) even that game was based on a real live person. All I'm really saying is, political correctness aside, I think it would probably let quite a few americans let off steam at a group that has attacked and is still attacking the U.S.

Please show me what info your citing when you say Afghanistan had ties, and Saddam's Iraq for sure did not.

meh, the US has killed more civilians then the terrorists ever could (even if we let them)... why dont we make a "fly a plane into a building" game to let them blow off some steam?

we could, but the assholes that would play it are already dead! LOL

yes along with hundreds of innocent people including little kids, women, and old people. So yah laugh it up man its really funny!

During the Iraq war? I highly doubt that.

During all wars, probably, but you have to consider that all other countries with large military forces have in some way killed many civilians. Think of the carpet bombings that all the countries were participating in during WWII. Hundreds of planes almost blindly bombing targets with a hit rate of under 40%.

And then The Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Oh yah i forgot that the US is the only country to have ever used a nuke, and use two nukes back to back! killing 100s of thoushands of people!! Dont worry though im sure well find those weapons of mass destruction in Iraq Sooooometime! ;)

Actually the two bombings combined killed a total of 110,000 people. But after ten years another 230,000 people had died from various disease and ailments. But you have to consider that if the bombs were not dropped how much longer would the war have gone on? Russia would have entered (and they did, declaring war on Japan two days after the bombing of Hiroshima) causing even more deaths, military and civilian. I believe it was in Poland that the citizens feared being retaken by Russia because of the soldiers history of raping the woman. Who knows, the war could still be going on if it were not for the nuclear attacks.

Yah i know, the actual blast incinerates anything that is flamible within the bombs reach and poisions the area with radiation. :sniper: :flame:
Im just wondering why another foreing power doesnt invade our country and blow everything up with missiles saying we have weapons of mass destruction. Even though we do! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

lol sory every1 ive just had a very bad day and am venting my anger :flame:

Well to the best of my knowledge, Al-Quaida killed 3 000 people on 9/11, and the Iraq body count now is 11 000 minimum isn't it? 9/11 was the largest terrorist attack ever, so add Iraq + Afghanistan bodycounts and I'd say you've already caught up with the terrorists. Oh, and the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs killed roughly 100 000, EACH in the blasts.
