Mortar Synth in Anti-Citizen 1?

Could these shots be from the infamous mortar Synth?
They look plasmaie but explode like a grenade.

Interesting find. I always assumed they were just RPG's. On closer inspection though, they look a bit like those energy balls, only with tails. Hmm.
