Dunno if anyone has any opinion on this, but I'm fairly intrigued to hear what music may ship with HL2.
When I immigrated from England in the early 80s, my dad had this old Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds LP that to this day has a very fascinating book of artwork with the double-record set, and is quite the concept album.
Bits of it sound campy, but the parts the first two songs could add quite quite a bit of intrigue and mystery to a game, with some WOW type characters... giant striders, and combines...
I also liked the music in Homeworld, and the music provided by the band Yes.
I'm actually a little looking forward to a H.G. Wells type twist to a game.
