My console never worked... :(

Hi there...
I have a problem - I can't open the console...
Now don't flame me about i have to check the "Enable developer console", because I HAVE!!!
The thing is just, that no matter what key i press, no console appears... In Half-Life 1, it was the key underneath "esc", and left of "1", but that key, or no other key, works...
Has this something to do with my danish keyboard???
Please help, because I need that freakin console!!!

Create a desktop shortcut of HL2 and have this:

c:\program files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\halflife2\hl2.exe -console

Or whatever your path is.

Hmm weird, make an autoexec.cfg file and put it in the half-life 2/hl2/cfg folder, and in the file put this:
bind "~" "toggleconsole"

If that doesn't work, try binding it to another key

bind "p" "toggleconsole" for example

Or try putting -console in your launch options like the previous posters suggested, that's an easier way
