i tried to increase my fps by using the Nvidia fix everybody ahs been talkin about. However, today when i tried to play HL2 there were lots of graphical glitches,etc. What i did was force HL2 to play in dx9.0 as i have a Nvidia FX, and i also used 3DAnalyze tobump up my fps by making it run 16FP.
so, what i would like to do i go back to dx8.1 and delete any config files 3DAnalyze has created to make sure HL2 works as was originally intended. Im not sure if 3DAnalyze does save any config files but i was hoping someone would know. I know this is my own stupid fault but it was jittery. Anyways, can anyone suggest any solutions to this problem as i want to play HL2 again as it was and not with graphical glitches. :x :x
