new footage in newspaper?

I was just watching the feature on the Sunday Times's 'The Month' CD which preview films, games and music etc..

the feature this month however was the history of games, or 'Pong to Half Life 2' as they called it. Anyway at the end of the feature they were talking about HL2 AI and graphics when a small section of video was played, about 5 seconds long it was Gordon in the buggy driving around City 17 running down Combine, anyone else see it? Is it just me or is it new footage?

This sounds like new footage. But I dunno...
Could be from the "beta" i suppose.

Remember when they announced it?
They gave an Exclusive to the THE EDGE if I'm not mistaken.

Sorry guys, false alarm. Just watched it myself, and it's all content from the bink videos. He must have mistaken the small rural base in the buggy video for the city...

Sorry, i didn't recognise it so got pretty excited etc..... but i've just watched it for the 3rd time and the original e3 one and you are right, its been a good few months since i saw the E3 vid and it is a small section soooo...:bounce: :cheers:
