? Did you never play Max Payne? The music in the trailer is the same theme from MP1, just re-recorded with different instruments, and slowed down a bit, but still, its the same music.

I just played through it , the music was never that Orchestra , it had more bass.... I obviously never played through Max Payne , I mean look at my avatar and sig!!!!

well the music was kinda the whole Max Payne main theme. it sounded pretty much the same as the last one, (Im listening to the old one right now), last one sounds as you said a bit bassy, the new one is just a rehash.
not dissing max, Max Payne is one o my all time fave games, I still play it every now and then.
however imo this one seems a bit dissapointing. it has a completely new (george bush look alike, instead of constipated) max payne... the gfx dont seem to have improved much at all... it seems to use the same engine.
when the video started (and even in screens I have seen) I almost thought I had clicked the wrong link and I was watching MP 1.
IM sure the story will rock, thats what made the first MP. the slomo is nothing more than a gimmick now, its great and all, but I found their excuse of "not being able to implement it in multiplayer" to be lacking, escpecially with TS (the specialists, a mod for hl) pulls it off even better than MP (imo)

I look forward to playing the new max, but thats only if I can squeeze it in between games of HL2, and HL - TS.

Haha shows how much you pay attention!!! Rainbow Six (the book) BTW.

MaxP1 had the same music , but the Violins and Orchestra were played WAY down. I like this version MUCH better , sounds more epic.
