New to Half life 2, Is the Blue gravity gun available sometime during the game?

too bad someone spoiled it for you, half of the fun on that level was the moment I realized I had suddenly aquired the godlike power to pull anything I wanted... I giggled like a schoolgirl when I threw my first combine into his advancing squad.
this might sound crazy but, i dont want to finish the game!
i just want to savor the moment for as long as i can.
because i know that the surprises in the game can only happen once...
does anyone else ever feel that way when buying such a game with such a changing experience (the way you feel about other games)

no spoilers here guys,
i'd realised that you could pick up bodies just after the retail release of the game, some website (damn them)
cant see it spoiling my experience of the game,
probably the greatest moment of the game for me will be battling the first striders :cheese:

Edit - and yes, playing HL2 has changed every expectation I will have for ever first-person-shooter. There is just too much in that game to leave me unaffected. You cannot imagine how incredible half-life 2 is until you complete it. Because never once when playing do you think about a past-experience, the entire gameplay distracts you from almost all voluntary muscles. I was suprised I didn't stop breathing when I picked up my first object and threw it at a guard.

Blue gun
I just finished HL2 tonight! I was playing while my boyfriend was sleeping and I woke the poor kid up with my excitement when I saw what the blue gun could do >
I identify with not wanting to finish the game, but I couldn't stop playing!
I usually find 1st person shooters pretty boring and repetitive, but HL2 is not your average shooting game. The graphics, sounds, characters and most of all, the plot are what drew me in. Blue guns don't hurt either. Call it revenge! >

Yeah, that's pretty lame. especially when you know you can finish the game in one day. 3 hours, but that was a really sick ****.
I didn't think the blue gravity gun was that cool. kind of boring, actually, i found battling gunships and striders with a rocketlauncher a lot more fun.
edit: and you don't have to boost your post count by welcoming me, i feel right at home.

I dunno when its available by mod? I got it in garrys mod and ported it its way better he fixed ALL its bugs. And btw its called the Physgun or physics manipulator

And my RL name is Alex, spelled differently than the badass chick in HL2, but it's still cool. And, I didn't mean to bump this topic. I was actually googling a code for Garry's mod to spawn a gravity gun and this came up. I was excited because I had just finished HL2, and felt the urge to respond. Didn't realize that there was a time limit on topics.
Oh, and I definitely loved the battleship/strider scenes, but after all that, it was fun to take it out on the Combine, which is why the blue gun rocks.
Anyway, yeah...
