I've been watching Ep2 videos nd reviews etc (who hasnt) nd I'm gettin slightly afraid of the newbielooking signs around the screen, such as the ammo, when u pick up just ammo in previous games it shows just shows the bullet/grenade icon, now it seems that it shows the weapon next to it. and other things such as saying ammo next to obvious places and a few other things which are beginning to get... annoying

Why would valve change a great game design and layout (as seen in hl2/ep1) to this newbie looking layout. say what u think...

I have no problem, as long as they don't dumb down any actual gameplay or story.

I didn't notice any changes in the Advisor video, which utilized the PC. The console version will have a different HUD system, but I don't care because I won't be playing it on console.

Besides, HL2 has always had little help messages pop up whenever something new must be done. This isn't breaking news, and I don't have a problem with it.

I shouldn't get angry at small changes like this, but I do. Valve need to find better playtesters, or maybe stop pressuring them into finding faults in the game when there are no obvious faults. I just hope you can turn it off in settings or something.

i am ok with 'change' but this isnt change this is sucking up to the new players, which we 'experienced' players dont need, nd has any1 even reaslised a major difference in the MK4-MK5 hazard suit...
