Alright, so last month my marching band went on a trip to disneyworld. It was a wonderful experience as I haven't gone since I was six years old, and I really appreciated all the wonderful things massive quantities of money combined with creative talent and many owned franchises can make.

So I was sitting there watching a show in which mickey mouse took on the villain of sleeping beuty with some crazy sparks-shooting sword when I thought of something.

What company owns many franchises, has lots of money, and would probably make good rides?

Nintendo!

After all, videogames are quickly becoming a new beloved form of media for little kids, and almost as many kids know about mario or pickachu or link as they do about mickey mouse or donald duck. So I was thinking about how great it would be if videogames were out in the mainstream enough to be included in a nation-beloved themepark like disneyworld.

Imagine big stuffed mario's and luigis wandering around a theme park devoted entirely to videogames, 80's style arcades on every corner and rollercoasters and other rides themed on Nintendo's many franchises.

Alas, it probably will never happen, because not only does Disney own all of those franchises, it also owns like 15% of all companies in the world, and is extremley rich and powerful. Nintendo sadly is not such a large company, and probably wouldn't have the money to fund such a project.

But a good thought anyway. What do you think?

Interesting, but not likely. General Games Chat was your first choice.....?

Meatflute :o

Anyway, I'd go, but I think that if I ever saw Link in real life, I'd break down and cry with joy.

Would be cool, but better would be simply gamesland. Cause I also want to go in to vibribbon land or parappa the rapper. Can you imagine a duel between toad and parappa. And silent hill as a horror haus.
