Hello,
I just started Half-Life 1 and I got up to the bit where the tram stops at its destination, but I can't get out of the tram! I stood back from the door and waited for the security guard for about 15 minutes but he didn't move. What should I do?

Stop pirating games.

My friend gave this game to me and I decided to try it to see if I would like it. I have decided to go out and buy it next week, so will this problem be fixed if I buy it in a store?

I'm unsure whether you can still buy it in stores anymore. I've never actually seen it, but you can buy it from Steam and download it immediately from here.

I've seen the HL anthology in several shops within the last two years.

About 500-700 meter's from my house there is a game shop that sells only original games for PC, Xbox360, PS2 and PS3. Yesterday i was there to buy Age of Empires III (I've payed it 30 euros!) and there was about 8-12 original half life 1 copies. Strange isn't it?

Pity that Age of Empires III is the worst in the series (apart from a couple of BAD expansion sets).

I've seen HL1 Anthology in store.
With the Orange Box, HL2 and Episodes.
(Bought HL2,btw)

It does take the security guard a while to get with the program at that point, but a 15 minute lag infers something else.

some times pirating games isnt as bad as it sounds.. my friend gave me a working copy of Half life .. and if it wasnt for that first pirated copy of Half life I would have never bought Half life 2, Orange box, day of defeat: source, and would never plan to buy left 4 dead. Hell just to stay legit in valves eyes ( and so i dont have to worry about losing the disk) i got that 98cent copy of Half life that was available on teh birthday :D

Bravo for you.

IM lag is fun. Especially when typing longer texts in multiple IM's, and it gets scattered all over the place to unreadability.

He's just posting everywhere. Everywhere, I tell you. He's coming all over our forums.
