I've become incredibly interested in this thing recently and was wondering if anyone here owns one or has tried it out who can share their experiences with it.

I played with it at GDC 07 and played HL2 with it.
It's absolutely incredible actually. It's so amazingly accurate. Shotguns and such gave a big push back, which does make it a bit harder to play cause you need to control recoil whereas with the mouse, it's not as bad.
The tech demo though where they put a sphere and put different materails on it sold me. At first they made it cobble stone sphere. I could literally "feel" the sphere and all of its cracks and crevices. Then they made it into ice and you were sort of slipping off it. Then it was put into molasses and you could go through the sphere, but it felt really sticky and your movement was slowed.
It's crazy how accurate they can get it, but it definitely does as advertised with flying colors. They're working on getting more partners to get the tech implemented in games, so I'm hoping it has a bright future.
At school we actually have two, but I haven't played with them since they're reserved for engineering students to use in their projects. :-\
