It's a bit technical but you shouldn't have a problem if you follow the instructions. This is a must for all DX9 nuts. You get a nice framerate too.

If you don't know what this is about, this is for us FX owners that can't play HL2 with DX9 and a decent framerate.

couldn't get it to work, think i messed up my textures (not horribly, just not full detail, turned water quality all way up and shows no difference in quality or fps). this is after i copied my original files back too...

if youre not seeing high quality water, try mat_clipz 0. it should work, but there may be some odd water glitches. well worth the cost imo.

you sacrifice image stability/quality to get it... and thats if it even works.
