Oddest fix for my problem!

The problem where I can't run BF2 in the same uptime cycle twice....remember that? Yeah, apparently, it's for some reason..the CD drives..and Windows. When a patch came out, it must have hated on me and borked it ;p

If I switch CD drives *I got a DVD drive and a CD drive* I can start BF2 infinate amounts of times. I just gotta switch drives each time. I wish I could find out why mounting the BF2 cd's doesn't work

*EDIT* I can't even run it twice with a mounted CD. It gives the same error. I'm stumped.

Either the usual, this program has performed its illegal operation by selling dope or something...and then you close it.

Or it just starts..then it just doesn't...open.

Sounds like a windows problem if it occurs with both physical / virtual drives.

You said a reformat didn't solve this problem right?

Yeah it continued after a format I was saddened. At least I know that I can just swap drives and not restart.
