Only about half of console commands work. Huh?

Welp, Half life 2 is ran thru steam, and I dont know if that has anything to do with whats going on or not.

I finally got the console to come up. But only half of the commands work

I type buddha, and I go into buddha mode. But if I try God. Or if I try Impulse 101 or 82. Nothing.

Yeah yeah, I know. Cheat codes. Blah blah blah, shouldnt have to cheat.

I usually like to god my way thru the game just so I can enjoy the storyline and stuff. Then I go back and challenge myself over and over again. If anyone knows what I'm mission, please let me know.

What he said. First type sv_cheats 1 into the console to enable cheats.


Then you get everythin you ever wanted.



But I suggest not doing that till you complete the game. It will spoil it for you.
