Opposing Force:Source / Blue Shift : Source ?

Yeah.. I was just thinking, I wonder if valve will eventually port over blue shift and opposing force to the source engine? That would be kind of cool, I mean I know im defo gunna play HL1:S. It would be a nice little addition.

And also, do you think any expansion packs will be released for hl2 ? There probably will be..
 
They may be made in time. I don;t think there is any official word about them.

And yes i should think there will be expansion packs for HL2 eventually.
 
If any expansions will be released for HL2 I am guessing...
An expanison that you could play as Alyx in.
An expansion that you could play as Barney in.
And maybe an expansion where you play as Shepard and see whatever happened to him at the end of OP4
 
opfor is a game I would love to see in source, but blue shift was mostly a gfx update so I doubt its coming.

And yes, I expect them to release expansion packs for hl2, why wouldn't they?
 
They better damn well call it Opposing Source, having force and source in the same text is not a very good idea for the alcoholics.

Opposing Source just sounds like we are all going to try and kill Source. :P Or...something...like...that...

Opposing source will be the expansion for hl2.
 
I garuntee that a mod will port the expansions to source, update models etc. Fingers crossed anyway, I don't think there's any change that Valve will do it.
 
Unless they redo everything (textures, models, etc) what the hell's the point?
 
I hope we'll see both, they're a part of the HL story and are both entertaining, even if they are a bit short. In my opinion, Blue Shift gets bashed much more than it should. Yes it was short, but it had some great moments.

I predict that we'll see OF:S soon enough, but I'm not sure about BS, since even the current version isn't on steam. Perhaps the developer of it won't allow Valve to distribute it themselves.
