The prayers have been answered.

New enemies, new traps and other defenses, a new wider upgrade system and the one thing OMD! fans have been begging for - CO-OP! Release is planned for this summer and the game will be playable @ PAX East.

Oh, and if you haven't played Orcs Must Die yet, buy it now. During the next sale at the latest.

Awesome! I'll most likely buy this.

By next summer do you mean this summer?

Neat, but does anyone find it a bit weird when modern sequels tout "new levels" as a feature? :v

I should probably finish the first one, too...

Looks pretty neat. I enjoyed the first one, I'll probably pick it up.

should probably try the first game. I bought it a while back

Pre-purchase available from Steam now. Clever timing. 14,99€ normally, currently -10% off. Two-pack available for 24,99€, also -10%. Owning Orcs Must Die! gives you 10 co-op levels which are apparently levels from the original OMD.

Release date is July 30, my birthday! I'll probably be pre-ordering this unless some kind soul decides to give me a great birthday present. Any other Halftime2.netters planning to buy it? I'd love to have a co-op partner or a few.

What are the US prices, by the way? Should I be getting a 2-pack with a US bro?

$22.49 for the 2-pack.

So it seems like a lot cheaper for Americans. That's like another 19% off converting to USD.

Pretty much bought it the instant I saw it had co op for my girlfriend and I.

Since COD started rehashing all the good maps from earlier in the series :v

I need to finish the first. The second is looking mighty fun.

Robot Entertainment have announced weekly player challenges starting today and every Friday following. Each challenge is playable in single-player or co-op and features a specific level, character, and trap loadout to master, all created weekly by Robot themselves.

The challenges are available from the in game's campaign menu. The first challenge asks players to conquer the map titled Crossing using only a Blunderbuss and Spring Traps.
