They got sued because they ripped off an original script for the first one, the 2nd and 3rd were wackowski brothers invented, thats why the first one is good and the others are lesser movies.
The plaintiff actually won a load of money from them, cant remember the original script name though..

yeah, was a thread about that a few weeks ago.

she sent the script to them, they sent it back saying they didn't want it, and fifteen years later they make one of the most popular movies of all time with the idea.

Third Eye would have been a cool name too, 's a great song.

Was that even confirmed as true? Anyway. I loved all 3 Movies.

I read somewhere (will look later) That they said a matrix 4 will never happen.

Hopefully the series is finished. If I try really hard I can pretend no.s 2 & 3 never happened.

God Neo was an awful lead character - but bearable in the original, which I loved.

(the only thing Keanu does well is dumbstrucked confusion)

The Animatrix, on the other hand, was fantastic

A 4th matrix hasn't been announced, so it's best to assume it isn't going to happen. TMO is supposed to continue the story in some form or another anyway.

I liked that 1st movie, the 2nd was pretty good, not great, and the 3rd was average. I really hope they don't try to make a 4th, and if they do I hope it's in the past (like "The Matrix Begins").

the series is over.

they totally messed up the trilogy, and ruined it. The First was good. Second was "ok", and third was horrible and i never want to see it again. They wont make another one.
