Ok I haven't played Quake but I beat Doom 3, so I'll give it a 1

You aren't going to find very many people that finished both games I don't think.

I haven't played Quake 4 yet but Doom 3 is one of my favorite games. Ive got a huge mod for Doom that I should be done with in about 2 months.

Never played Quake 4. But Doom 3... well, while it's not on HL2's level, it really is a pretty awesome game.

Preferred Doom 3 to Quake 4, just because of the scariness factor.

Never finished Quake 4, got up to the convoy part where you have to protect some dude, lost it... haven't played since.

Both dreadful imho, Quake 4s graphics were too comical. Bright contrasting colours was sickly. But disliked both the style of gameplay.

Doom 3 would be my choice though. Just because of the cool feeling when shooting guns.

never played Q4, Doom3 is awesome though. very atmospheric.

Finished Doom3 and Ressurection Of Evil, as well as Quake 4, enjoyed them all, which is better? I enjoyed Quake 4 alot more than the other 2, no monster cupboards, squads that saty with a lot of the game, and actually help you, good level design and graphics.

Suppose which one you prefer is down to wether or not you like scary, ju,py FPS`s more, or full blown action FPS`s.
