It come's with a model, Skin, & both Double & single barrel fire, but you have to re-label the sound if you want the kick ass Cannon like DB fire, instead of the old one.

How do you relabel the sound?

Its pretty simple, I will list the Sounds that need to be changed....


- Change shotgun_dbl_fire2 to shotgun_dbl_fire7

- Change shotgun_fire62 to shotgun_fire7

- Change shotgun_dbl_fire72 to shotgun_dbl_fire1

-Change shotgun_fire72 to shotgun_fire1

Yep, Im also messing around with it too....Fakefactory & Cinematic mod putting in. Adding a new caracter or weapon skins plus adding new sounds here & there.

Wow this is insane. I play on a Nvidia Fx5200 and the game seems fine to me. My comp handles source engine with relative ease but the unreal engine kills my machine so I can't play doom 3 or red orchestra without low settings. I need an upgrade bad though because all the new games coming out are just going to be too much for my comp and I'll miss out on some good fun.

I actually don't mind it at all, I actually like Alyx's new look for some reason.


It's not that bad. Its better than the previous versions of Alyx that fakefactory made.

yeah I think Alyx looks better without the fake factory mod, but a lot of the other textures and characters have been improved, plus the new music in the background is pretty cool imo

Thats wierd because every body at facepunch uses the fakefactory's hi-res skins for ragdoll posing, comic's, & movies et cetera...people like Major. Dump, Mikfoz, M_Wrench...just to name a few.

I don't like the new alex skin to...she looks to plastic or covered with to much fond de teint...She looked more real and human with the other textures.
This shows again that Valve are masters at work with lots of attention to details and tweaking.

But we must admire the effort...

Oh, the guy is very very talented and the textures themselves are good. It just don't like them for Half-life 2, and they are pretty silly looking, except for the one citizen model. But Alyx with...makeup. No.
