Hey I was wondering if it there are Half Life 2 posters in stores. I already bought the bronse edition before a saw what was included with HL2 Gold edition. I already found one on ebay but I more like it to buy one in a store. thanks

They're limited edition so they're generally only issued as gifts from Valve, or bundled with game packages.

Hmm... it's not my place to say, but i'm pretty sure people have posted pictures of these in the past. If you do, make sure it's not a particuarlly good picture - the kind of thing that someone could easily photoshop and print out to put on their wall...

As it goes, Valve done a great job with Alyx as they do with all the characters in the game. What makes them special is how lifelike they are. I'm not even talking about facial expression/emotion or movement. Notice how HL is one of the only FPS's to feature realistically proportioned human characters? In most cases in this type of game the male characters look like they've spent most of their lives in the gym! Everyone of them looks like a body builder! Likewise female characters are usually portrayed as stereo typical porn queens with breasts the size of barrage balloons & clad in ........ well not much at all usually. It's certainly refreshing to see human characters that look like normal people! If you get that right that's half the battle & obviously Valve realised this very early on.

I'm not sure if 'sexy' is the word I'd use Certainly more believable as a result. All the characters are more believable but as i said I think that's as much to do with their more regularly proportioned bodies as much as anything else.

Someone posted a link somewhere of the actress/model that alyx was modelled on. Anyone seen her?

2) Complete an original piece of artwork showing what a huge fan you are. Send us a copy or the original for OUR enjoyment.

3) Create a model of a weapon from any of our games using scrounged materials. Send us a photo or the weapon.
