Pyhsics question

If I jump on a barrel in water is it possible to stand and the barrel not dip into the water or do I way pounds so that it will sink to bottom. Does it depend on materials and objects etc as in teh real live.

If you're a big fat guy, chances are you'll roll right off, as it bobs under the water and tries to come back to the surface in a different direction. If you're light enough, you can expect it to bob shallowly in the water without sinking.

EDIT: I don't know if the above is simulated, what with the 'bouyancy' thing I described above... as it wants to remain afloat, but we can hope.

After seeing you act strange earlier, I can't tell if you are joking or not.

Boyancy is one of the things Valve mentioned in the physics engine. You see it in the E3 demo for christs sake.

And barrels sink by themselves, as I said.

A troll is someone who does 1 or more of the following.

1.) "Floods" the forums, like posting alot of meaningless or unworthy posts.
2.) Doesn't use the search feature and posts old topics.
3.) Digs up very old threads and thinks they are new and posts in them.
4.) Unnessesarily insults someone.
5.) Has an indescribable annoyance wherever he is.

He is not Patsy. Stop getting offended so easily. Assumptions of gender are very common on the internet, as most people who play these games are male. If you are a female, so be it, but don't be offended if someone accidentally refers to you as a he.

There is nothing wrong with being called foreign, so don't take offense to that either. He is not making fun if your english. If somebody says your english is hard to understand, it does NOT mean they are making fun of it.
