Questions, a paradox maybe?

So, I replayed HL2 Ep. 2, and i noticed how the Borealis was frozen and stuff, and keepin mind HL2 Ep. 2 takes place no later than 2030, but in Portal 2, taking place at least a VERY long time after HL2 Ep. 2 and yet there is a secret room in the depths of Aperture, there is the Borealis. What is with this? Time paradox mabye?

The Borealis isn't there in Portal 2. It's just the docking area with a little floatation device that says Borealis on it. No ship. No paradox.

The Borealis would have been teleported to the arctic long before the events of Portal 2. The flotation device named Borealis was part of the equipment of the docking operations for Borealis that wasn't teleported.
