I have a rat in my room!!!

I just saw it, it came out of the chimney, and me bieng a huge muscle bound hero, i ran out of the room screaming... arrr!!!

what can i do to get the buggers out of my room...? I dont want them pooing on my face while i'm asleep... ;(

someone help. and no, i dont have a crowbar, gravity gun or i-rifle to shoot the bastard.

My suggestion would be to unleash a large force of counter terrorists and terrorists alike, the search through the room...while of course trying to kill each other.
 
we should make a map out of that, call it de_rats or something
 
i dont have any cats, im not allowed, i live in rented accomodation... my housemate isnt scared of them so she's going to clean up the mess when i get come traps tomorrow... im not going to sleep tonight... thank f*ck i bought so much pro plus a few months ago...

Rats just eat the cheese and run away, all the rats love dairylee!
Im getting some traps tomorrow... but i can't sleep tonight, i'll hear noises and get scared.
So time to put in some Half-life 2 playing i guess... or do that essay that's due in tomorrow. ;(
 
You know I had a nightmare involving rats last night and I blame you oldagerocker. There was one nibling on my ear and I woke up screaming like a girl. :|

that could happen..There was a rat here once who jumped on my parents bed and crawled itself on my mothers hand! she got so scared she threw it against the wall...poor rat :(
I remember when I first time killed a rat with a crowbar(yes a crowbar), I almost cryed!!! I was thinking about its family and stuff. Theyre so cute ;(

Simple solution that will kill 2 problems with one stone. Go down to your local pet shop and buy the following:
1 Glass tank, the bigger the better
1 Bag of saw dust
1 waterbottle designer for aquatic tank fittings
1 food bowl
1 bag of food

Then head down to your nearest diy shop and pic up a humane rat trap. Place dairylee in rat trap and leave overnight. In morning, poor either dairylee or rat into tank and replace lid. There you go. A nice pet that will also cure your fear of rats. Trust me, they are great animals. They are also the cleanest of all rodents.

how do you explain the plague then?
 
Ok, they are the cleanest rodents, when they are able to be clean. It is not by choise they live in sewers, it is simply that they don't survive anywhere else, as people kill them. My sister has a couple of pet rats, and they constantley clean themselves, each other and thier enclosure. They are actually hygene contious creatures.

And rats didn't carry the plauge, parasites that lived on them did, and the parasites would have been just as happy on clean rats as dirty.
 
I think you will find that most mamals clean themselves in such a way.
As for being hygene contious, well I can't disagree there...Rats are our biggest customer for bleach and carpet cleaner.
 
Yeah, theres always a queue of rats at tescos buying cleaning products on a Saturday, and they always have more than ten items. Damn dirty rats :flame:

Anyway, I didn't say other animals didn't do it, I just said rats devote much more time and effort to it.

(Wheres the picky mode tag?)They are rodents, not mamals :P
 
Theres a mouse in my room!

I got one of those glue traps, where if it goes over it, the mouse gets stuck and slowly dies. I come back from school and the glue box is not there. I was like, 'shit.' I tried to find it and I find it behind my bed and i look at the glue box and the mother ****er isn't there!

I looked at the glue and it ripped the skin off the mouse, eeeew! And to top it off, it didn't eat the biscuit inside the glue box and shitted in the box too.

I also heard it last night, I was too much of a pussy to put the light on to see where it is. I just came from the D.I.Y shop and bought 5 rat traps. Hahaha, he is so dead!

Now, look. If you want to get to a rat, first you're going to have to make friends with it. After you make friends with it, well, you've gotta go to first base, ya know? Get her some chocolates or something, but don't come on too hard, ya don't want to scare her off now do ya?

Maybe after a while, you can watch a movie together in your room or something... maybe get a little close, do the "yawn" manuver. After that it all comes naturally...

And there, you've got yourself a girlfriend!

lols... well, i didnt get the traps in the end, im back home. il get them on monday. I didnt see it again last night.
Although i did leave my door open, it could be anywhere in the house which gives me a 1 in 8 chance that it's in my room :D i like those odds!

Im going to get the glue and traps soon, always wanted abit of rat skin, blood and guts on my carpet in the morning....

Now, thats a good idea... if only i could get one of them rat-eating plants... like the fly traps but bigger and more deadly :naughty:

Haha, I've aligned my door way with mouse traps. Either way, its dead. Now I just to make sure I don't step on the rat traps, crap.
 
Catch the ****er, torture it to death, and then eat it!

Or umm, set it free outside...
 
what do you think would happen if i left my pc on, turned all the fans off (ezxcept cpu) and put some cheese just on the bottom of the case... could i fry the mouse on my mobo? Would it get stuck in a fan?
 
Rats are great...tamed ones that is. I had some as pets a while back.
 
this thread was started by a terribly girly man :( even my housemates being girls and all arent as scared of the mouse as i was, although they never actually saw it crawling around in their room and pooing everywhere!!
 
Rats are cute. Covered in Death, but cute.
 
I love rats! Especially in a light wine sauce.
(I will give a huge pat on the back to whomever can name the game that's from)
