I haven't played any RE games at all yet. I found the intro video for the original RE and it did make me laugh.

I think the remake's intro is lot more better than the original one if you ask me though.

I think most people with common sense think that, RE1s intro has to be considered one of the worsts in gaming, especially with the horrid acting..
It has been parodied quite a few times also

RE1 is old but even the remake had the same or atleast a very similar intro, horrible yes but the game is just sick

Meh, I liked the original myself. Real-life will always be better than CGI. Ofcourse I'm cursed(blessed) with the inability to spot bad-acting in most movies anyway.

Depends on what format, on movies, yeah real life > CGI (95% of the time). On games however, I can only think of one game that had well done cutscenes... BLACK.
