Ridley Scott and BBC to adapt Phillip K. Dick novel

4 episodes for 239 Pages almost sounds too long.

Alternative history story with the Nazis wining the war. How original.

The novel might've been original when it was written, but there have been plenty of movies, tv shows and games exploring this idea since then.

Considering they have to ease you into a world where nazi's are going to mars (Phillp K Dick really liked Mars) and where they're a super power along with japan, then you need time for people to use to this world.

Really?
Sure, it's been tackled by video games a fair amount of times but I can't think of any films or TV shows that have touched on the idea.

have you read the book? it's nothing like those alternative history's you speak of

CptStern is right, its about as alternate as you can get, most alternate realities in tv and films are very similar to our earth.

Judging a book by its cover. How original.

Don't talk shit about PKD when you obviously haven't read the novel in question.

I'm looking forward to this since Ridley Scott is the only person who has ever made a good film adaptation of a PKD novel (you can also MAYBE include A Scanner Darkly), but I can think of several other PKD novels I'd rather see on the screen than The Man in the High Castle.
