Robin Williams is a sniper… in Battlefield 2


"Apparently Robin was in town filming a movie called “Man of the Year”. After he was done filming he started signing autographs and ended up talking to Kev. It seems that Kev had done his homework, as he already knew they had something in common: online videogames. So naturally he asked him what game he’s been playing lately. Apparently, he’s been gaming a lot online with Battlefield 2 and his favorite class is the sniper. So next time you’re screaming at “that friggin’ camper!”, feel consoled; it may be a celebrity shooting at you."


I'd love to be in his squad ...although I doubt I'd be of much use as I'd be too busy laughing
 
Hahaha that's awesome. I have a lot of respect for Robin Williams (his standup is mindblowing) so I guess I'll forgive him for being a sniper.

I'd like to think that I've at one point gamed with a celebrity.
 
Yeah, I've kept vague track of the games he mentions once in a while, and our tastes tend to match up pretty well. Cool to hear that he made the move over to BF2 along with everyone else.
 
Robin's awesome. A hilarious comedian, great actor, and a self-confessed gamer. Good Morning, Vietnam was on a few days ago, so the love definitely needs to be shared here... he completely improvised the radio broadcasts, for crying out loud. That's just awesome.

Great story. Imagine having him as a squad leader .....

I could have sworn I saw an old pic of him with long hair and a scraggy beard ..kinda looked like Jack Black ...must have been someone else

That alone makes me want to buy BF2 again. And some more RAM. Maybe some more RAM first. yeah

Robin Williams is awesome though, i'd love to be in his squad... but, like Stern said, I'd be laughing too much :D
