Well, my theory says that women must take their rightful place in the kitchens while men hunt mammoth.

IMO age difference doesnt mean anything. Age is not a sign of maturity, experience in life is (which doesnt come from just being older). Compared to some of the things we today, a relationship between a 30 year old man and a 24 year old woman is positively mundane.
