Most people who are against it probably haven't tried it.
Acid is better anyway

But seriously, if you're responsible, its really fine. You would have to try really hard or something to die from an overdose.

hes a pot head I wouldn't listen.

I would just like to say that I am against "M" because I have yet to meet IRL a respectable person who smokes pot regularly. Everyone I meet who is lie "d00d p0t is so like awsuim" are pathetic individuals with no intelligence to speak of, and are in a way, a waste of life.

I could say the same thing about a lot of people who drink. Hell I can say that about a lot of people who dont smoke or drink. Some people are just naturally a waste of air.

I'd would just like someone to answer a couple of questions regarding the topic.....

Where are all the reports of people smoking too much and dying?
Where are the reports of fatal car crashes cause by high driving?
When was the last brawl between 2 high ppl?

God made marijuana, man made cigarettes... which should you trust?

Anyway, I dont smoke weed, never have, never will, but when used responsibly (and I use that word lightly) then I see no problem.
Acid is better anyway
And can fry your brain...
-.-

Also, unlike Alcohol, you can drive while under the incluance of weed without any huge risk. I know, I've been in the car with my brother when he's smoked, and there was no difference in driving.

There's a perfectly good reason why weed is illegal and I'm not sure why. Almost every kid my age does it but not me... Legal or illegal, it's still a stupid thing to do recreationally. Smoking weed is up there with getting drunk.

That reason is..... ??

Makes people too lazy and stupid, should be illegal, we got enough things doing that to us already.

If your life sucks so bad that you need to take mind altering substances to feel good, perhaps you should use your time to try to make your life better?

Every person who I have met that I know that have taken drugs have had pretty ****ing bad lives.

Yay, another weed-thread!!!!

I'm all for legalisation, even the harder stuff. It's better to de-criminalise the drugs-scene IMO.

I am someone who is hoping for an overall ban of smokers smoking in any public place at all, including in the street, in pubs, in bars, in clubs, etc, i think if Marijuana is going to be smoked, it should be forced to be done behind locked doors and closed windows.

But for me, only losers smoke, only losers drink excessively and only losers smoke Marijuana, so...

.... that means I'm a 2/3-loser in your book (coz I never drink excessively).

Hm.

Weed doesn't do a lot of damage physically; it's yet to be proven that it is indeed as dangerous as the general public think it is. The latest studies ( check newscientist.com ) remain inconclusive - the test the government is pushing as a reason to reclassify was based on 4 test subjects.

However, the drug does have serious, unquantifiable effects on motivation; I've seen it happen.

I'm not sure whether it should be legal or not. But I know what will happen.

I'm sorry but this thread has become flamebait, just like all the rest on the subject.

If you want to have a stab at a sensible discussion in the Politics board, feel free. But keep away from "So nare yuo callin me a l0ser>?!?!?" type responses otherwise it'll just be closed again.
