If any had any doubts, for some reason, about HL2's release date i'd stop worrying now....i went into the warehouse at work today to talk to someone and fumbling about with the stuff in a box i happened to stumble upon a familiar looking character, and nearly had a heart attack. Yes, Morrisons (A supermarket chain if you don't know) already have their copies of HL2, and i was soooo close to it, but yet so far! I guess i could've stolen a few but i wouldn't have been able to play it anyway.

Maybe the online activation idea is an excellent copy-protection (or at least leak-protection) system after all!

Morrisons isnt exactly the sort of place that keeps up to date buying the newest games and stuff. Spose that counts for something.

no they're not. it was just clumsily under a bunch of new DVD releases which i was fumbling through

Unfortunately Index Catalogue superstore (where I work), only sell console games (Tits). But my managers are right fools, we are not selling Halo 2 nor HL2 in the christmas catalogue.

saw it in hmv dublin today also. big deal though, of course everyone has it. its going to make everyone profit. would be stupid not to stock it on release day.
