Well that's a nice idea and all, but I think that if you look back at it and ask yourself what good it left for anybody, it will have been some mild form of entertainment, at best.

I'd go with music composition/hardware forum, personally.

i think that having it restricted to just posting is going to get pretty boring pretty quick.

edit: im willing to help with any scripting you might need , i know php and can work with mysql so i can make small scripts/plugins for whatever forum software you're going to use.

Um! Yes! We need you. We're actually not going to use a base forum software. We figure it would just be easier to code a simple message posting single-thread shoutbox type deal. Do you think you can do that? If not, perhaps we can use a simple forum software as a base, but we'd be stripping out a lot of the features. Or, perhaps we can change the direction of things a bit.

Do you have MSN or AIM or some way I can chat with you? We might go with a more traditional forum layout afterall. Whatever you can work best with.

May I suggest you script it to look for violations instead of having moderators. That'd make the rules 100% possible to do, and no post would be missed or rigged. You could also add and delete rules with amazing precison and speed.

You'll have to make the rules a little bit easy to guess, If we can't read them, then how will we ever know not to make a post with the letter 'e' or something like that? That'd be DAMN hard to figure out.. I also think there should only be a few rules, like 5, but they should get changed each day, or something.. Sorry if this was suggested, I didn't read past 1.5 pages..
