There is no competition.

You know, topics like this always annoy the shit out of me. I should probably just steer away from them.

Because you're an arrogant kinda guy that disagrees with everyone? Yeah, stay the f*** out. Your opinions mean jack shit to me, too.

*tries to calm the situation by mooning everyone*

but anyway, i LOVE these 2 songs by Massive Attack, they really make me sit back and think 'wow, that was a ***king great song' everytime:

Dissolved Girl (Can be heard on The Matrix when Neo is asleep at his computer):

Muscle Museum - Muse
'nuff said

Incase you guys didn't like my last submission, don't even try to tell me this isn't an incredible song.

Aww... You angry at me too because I don't tone down my language for your sensitive eyes? :(
No, not really. I'm quite argumentative myself, and I don't see why you should tone anything down if you don't want to, even if I would. But I'll be damned if that isn't why these threads annoy you, :p.

Anyway, this thread needs moar Queen.

Coldplay - Politik

I HATE Coldplay btw, but my friend played this on my comp yesterday, and I was really suprised how good of a song it was

Also, Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat - Bob Dylan, off "The Bootleg Series" it's much more slowed down, sounds like a BB King jam, really good

Life Is Pain, Super Tuesday or One Dead Cop by Leftover Crack. All three of those songs make me want to sing, and jump about, and throw a molotov cocktail through the nearest Starbucks. Rawr.

Also the Dropkick Murphys version of Fields of Athenry, and Drunken Lullabies by Flogging Molly.

Anything by A Silver Mt. Zion, notably the opening 3 tracks on He Has Left Us Alone... but I really can't be arsed typing them out as they are long.

There can only be two:

There Is A Light That Never Goes Out - The Smiths

Lover, You Should Have Come Over - Jeff Buckley

Most tracks from Conjure One are amazing, but the rare chill out mixes from Solarstone (and others) are just sublime... if you close your eyes and listen, they take you to another state of consciousness. I've uploaded an example here. Don't skip any of it, you'll just ruin it. Oh, and turn the bass up!

Everything on Falkenbach's Heralding the Fireblade album, and anything by Heather Dale.

Their music is quite epic.

Even though it came out in '72 "T" Plays it Cool (Marvin Gaye) sounds like it could have been made today.

Pixies - Where is my Mind?

Turn it up loud for the solo and the chorus afterwards is wow.

Heh, that tune reminds me of my college days ... I had it playing constantly on repeat as I did 2 years worth of work in one week of no sleep and solid work.
And I passed!

<3 fight club also.
