Make sure you have Brood War to, anyway finish the Starcraft campaign and then finish the brood war Campaign, and don't miss out on the Brood War secret level.
YOU'LL LOVE IT.
Especially with this little fact:
Xel'Naga created the Protoss and Zerg's plants and then steered there evolution to became amazing races, though the Xel'Naga considers them failed creations they are obsessed with creating the Perfect Lifeform.

I use to play Melee\TvB alot now I stick to Diplomacys\Altered Starcrafts. Though I still suprise myself with my Starcraft Skills.

At first my ally though I was a newb, which I realized how I set myself up was very newbish but I made up for it with excellent tactics only for him to say in the end. "Your friggen good".

The Great thing about Sc:
Easy to get into.
Impossible to master except if your name is SlayerS_'BoxeR - One of the greatest starcraft players of all time who basically lives off the money he makes. Does $780,000 for 3 years sound nice? Yeah all for him for playing Starcraft. Koreans and there love of starcraft

So yeah, anyone who dosn't have SC, BUY IT.

I hate brood war though. Great campaign, I just hated how they forced you to tech first, then get your power going.

I am used to getting a good power defense going of units and then microing them...but yeah, you didn't have lurkers and dark templar

I'm up for a Tourny if its just vanilla.

I still play it on B. net now and again, mainly cat & mouse, tarpit or evolved (due to the fact that I cant compete online for toffie in the standard form).

The single player is fantastic and I love the story line and overall its definitly one of my favorate games of all time.

WTF? first level, chau sara wastelands right? Where the objective is to build a base and train some marines? IIRC all the zerg stay where they are if you dont attack them.

Oh, by the way get the demo and Broodwar for a (mostly) complete picture of the starcraft story as far as it has come upto now...

Starcraft owns. I still play, and am willing to play with others from hl.net. I'm kinda noobish though, since i started playing again a little while back. Also, I have 2 cd-keys, and i have no idea how i got the second one, because i found it all dusted up in my basement. For the person who cant beat the first mission, what exactly do u do?

The Zerg have the Purity of Essence, while the protoss have the Purity of form. To create the Perfect lifeform, you need both purities. If you dont get it, beat the secret mission in Brood War.

Yep. Starcraft has such an amazing backhistory, and Blizzard set everything up so perfectly.

You need to read the manual on the Protoss and Zerg and the Secret Mission to really get it.

Anyway there most likely making it. Blizzard isn't that small of a company. You got Blizz North making WoW Expansion and they made WoW. You got their new Acquired Swingin Apes workin on Sc:Ghost, what is Blizzard HQ doing?
The last game they made was Warcraft III: Expansion. I'm gonna put my money on Starcraft 2.

Of course no one wants Starcraft to fade away. It still reaches 120,000 people on battle.net Yeah, and averages damn near 40-60 thousand people. Thats simply ALOT of people.

We should really pull togeather a HL2 Clan for Starcraft.

It's at my local stores . Illegal you'll be ****ed for online play. Very hard to get a cd key for Battle.net except the ones you get from a legal box.

Amazon and places should definently have it.

Yeah I had a lot of fun playing Starcraft, but I was REALLY bad at multiplayer.

I just never got the hang of the build order in the early game nor could I do it fast enough when I had the order right. As a result I always got pretty far behind and usually got crippled by rushes in the early game.

Yes, Blizzard North makes the Diablo's.
Blizzard HQ makes RTS's
Blizzard North makes RPG's.

There isn't an Amazon for Belgium, and I might find it in Brussels or another big city, but the train ticket'll probably cost more than the game itself
