Strange photo

Well. hmm.. the Citidel is obvious show.. but it looks like concept art... maybe?

That bit is from the Strider segment of the E3 2003 demo.

That's one of the most known pieces of concept art. At one point Valve where selling linographs of it

Concept art..that is also in Raising The Bar..which I suggest EVERYBODY has at LEAST one copy.

It's like the new bible.

What would I do with multiple copies of the same book? It's not like I could read them both at the same time.

EDIT: BTW were those cables that extend from Citadel to the city in game at all?

One to read, one to keep vacume packed in the safe.

Yes, but not as many I think.

What's the point of that in general? I mean, people buy comics, books, toys etc. for entertainment purposes. Keeping it wrapped is just nullifying its true value which comes from the amount of joy one gets from reading it which is what those nutcase collectors don't understand. For them it's more important to have the item than to instead enjoy the benefits of having it.

I could quote Don Rosa here but I won't. It's just not worth the debate.

Duh, to sell to collectors later.

heh.. its just cliche and new kitch man, let them collect them in peace, focus on the topic

Jes. After all it could potentially worth millions (maybe) someday.

It won't be real value. It hasn't entertained anyone, taught anyone any moral lecture or even pleased the eye with vivid colors and nicely done drawing.

In other words, it's worthless and some jackasses are ready to pay millions to prove others that they are idiots.

Oh god that picture takes me back to when I thought you could beat down doors and Traptown was a possibility.

*Sigh*

Value is in the mind of the buyer, not the truth.

What are videogames but 1s and 0s?

Indeed, if someone in years to come wanted it that bad then they'd go to any lengths to get it.It's a matter of opinion not fact.

Hey, that's your view. To some peasant living in Russia who's never seen a computer, it's a shiney bit of metal/plastic that can be flung through the air to decapitate bears.

someone has been hiding under a rock...

it's one of the first released concept-art pieces for HL2.
