stuck again in Our Benefactors

have zapped combine with gravity gun, listened to the broadcast messages, am now looking at a beam in front of me but have small fence blocking my path and no ability to jump. Back a bit and on my right is a large white space - door? Before that is broadcast ing screen and pathway to corridoe blocked by force field.

Any help would be appreciated. I just cant find any way forward!!!

I think you have to suck the energy balls out of the the little tank thing to deactivate the energy shield.

This is a bug, you're supposed to be able to jump over the fence. Try re-loading the chapter from the new game window, or load from an old save before your weapons are taken away.

I had a similer problem, and got passed it by grabbing the screen with the gravity gun and placing it next to the small gate. Now duck and, if positioned right, you can crawl up the screen over the fense.
