I'm stuck on a particular level on Ep2, with the "Big gun" and I can't get past the damn thing without getting turned into swiss cheese in less than 5 seconds. I threw grenades over, still no luck. Any ideas?

You have to flank it. Use the wrecked cars and debris between you and the Autogun to move up (it's pretty self-explanatory, just follow the path), kill the zombies/headcrabs on the way, then you get over to the right side of the house the gun is in and you can go in a window and kill the Combine inside / nade the gun.

In case your wondering about these random statements:
1st, you duck, then you act like a rabbit and get out of there, then you see a bird get blown away, then you enter a white van and blow the shit out of it.

Go through the back of the van, out the side, and continue ducking through the car maze.

Watch your back though; zombie torsos spawn in one of the other "rest point" vans. The places where you don't have to tape your crouch key down.
