Stuck

I'm at the part where you bring the citizens to the train and I brought them all there. Barney stands there and says the same shit over and over and Alyx stands in the same spot under the train between the concrete things. If I leave her she gets shot. If I goto where the citizens were there are none there. What the hell do I do from here?

Hmm.. probably reload from before you get to the station, sounds like a bug to me.

I'd the same problem cause I played with "run and shoot only what you must". You gotta shoot that API(?, hehe can't remembers names.. was to tired when playing it) that launches rockets in your face, and Barney will come with a comment and you can get more citizens.

I shot blew up the APC with RPGS and Barney is by the train doing nothing. I've looked all over for more citizens and nothing... eh

Never seen this bug. Perhaps you didn't kill a Combine that was part of the script, and screwed up the scene.

Maybe a step by step thru this level would help then I can go back and redo it again. Any takers?

I doubt it, it's pretty straight forward section, just kill all the Combine, and keep going back and forth with the refugees. Have you tried restarting from an earlier point to see if the problem vanishes, as I suspect it might.

I had a similar problem, Barney got stuck on his run through and so the next part didn't trigger, because Barney never got to the end.

I just loaded a previous save from before Barney's run and made sure he didn't go to the same place and get stuck.

Whenever Barney got stuck, i just Waited, it was the patient thing to do
