If you click on this link here you will be taken to trailers of Monster Madness, an upcoming game for the PC. If you click on the top trailer (Quicktime or WMV) you will see a demo running with the PhysXageia card

cant tell what's going on there's too much on the screen at once

funny how with all the advances in ai, physics, graphics etc they still churn out games that play like Gauntlet (not a fan of button mashing pc games)

love to see this tech in a fps

IMO is looks like it might be some fun to have some friends over and play it on the 360. It seems more of a social game to me.

I want there to be a title called

Max Payne 3: Getting Physical

I would love to see a fight scene from inside a kitchen

Look to the right in the picture, near the TV, there's a vertical 360+joypads on the table.:D

I wonder if they'll release a demo on Marketplace soon, that'd be nice.

but ..how is that possible:

"a demo running with the PhysXageia card"

does the xbox360 ship with a physics card?

max payne + PhysXageia card = stern wet his pants

No, but the PS3 makes it available for all who get a dev kit and IGN now is saying that a PS3 version is looking more and more probable because of this:

"Of particular note is the AGEIA physics video, which illustrates why the extension to the PS3 platform makes so much sense (built-in PhysX support is one of Sony's most touted next-generation features)."

The game looks awesomely fun and addicitve, so I am very looking forward to E3 and what it holds for this title!

The way I understand it the ps3 wont have an actual ageia chip, but the ageia software will be custom-tailored to take advantage of the ps3 "secondary processing units" or whatever it is they call them, in effect making the multicored cell-processor also function as a ppu.

[on topic]The (now old) video of monster madness doesn't look very good. Physics look good ofcourse, but the game looks pretty boring.[/on topic]

I'm surprised that VictimOfScience was able to find my 3 month old thread, I thought it got automatically purged

Man, I hope they start implementing Physx in more and more games.

And Stern, have some decency and wear a damn diaper if you're gonna do that!

You understand correctly. Its not an actual chip or PPU or anything, but the software that will enable part of the Cell to act like one which is just as good as far as I am concerned. Its quite a boon for devs I imagine and gamers as well since we will reap the rewards of it!

The game looks pretty darn fun now. I think that if you find games like Robotron or Smash TV boring, then yes, you might find this boring as well. But if you (like me) find games like this tremendously entertaining, then you are in for a great time it looks like!

I neglected to give it the proper respect that it deserved 3 months ago and thought its voice needed to be heard again! Oh, and I just read the IGN update on it last night...:P

Hehe, this reminds me of the old SNES "Zombies Ate My Neighbor" game.
God,i loved that game.Looks like a lot of fun. :)

I think the most chaotic game on PC is Dawn of War, especially with the orcs, it's just brutal!
