I really hope they change the plot this time around, I mean if you examine the storyline in all three Terminator movies it was always the same bloody thing: Terminator comes from the future to assasinate Sarah Connor (therefor John Connor) in the first one, two terminators travel back in time to assasinate/protect John Connor, and the third one was more of the same...

CB, Term 4 will be most likley set after the 3rd film. As it has followed a story so far.

Term 1 - Robot comes back to kill John Conners mom (forget her name), Guy sent back to help, guy "helps" her become pregnent, guy dies.
Term 2 - Robot sent back to tell John himself as they failed to kill his mom, this time John in the furture makes a robot to go back.
Term 3 - Robot sent back to kill John once again, anouther rebot send back NOT to save John, but to get him to safety before skynet comes online.

So in following with the storyline..

Term 4 - John Conner and that girl he had with him start the human rebels and fight skynight.

Thus.. term 4 will kick ass. I loved all the other films.

Ontopic on Arnie, I dont they will need him, skynet wont have 100s of Arnies, they will have 100s of normal looking robots..

This is a good opprtunity to actually end everything for good. It could end with sending Kyle back to save Sarah Conner in the first film, so we get a nice time loop to (sort of) close things off. Still, it will probably suck like T3.

T1 and t2 were both excellent, t3 was very very bad. It didnt even feel like a terminator movie and i doubt the 4th will either. Theyre making a complete joke of the series, it shouldve been left at t2 :frown:

Terminator 3 was good, but really was a mere smudge when you compare it to the excellence of Camerons two previous classics. I'd be happy for a 4th film as long as it was Cameron behind the wheel.

There wouldn't have been a third if Arnie hadn't lost his arm in that giant cog, but wouldn't that mean that his future self would know he lonst the arm because he went back? Its the same with John Connor, he is older than his farther for christs sake, why didn't the Terminatrix (Or even Robert Patrick) up just go kill his dad while he was a kid and end it sooner instead of chasing a sqealing 13 year old.

I mean the end of number 2 "There is one more chip" Yes theres also one more arm jammed in the machinery, not to mention that guy from cyberdyne (sp?) sending all the info they had to someone else in the morning.

Because it was a pretty average movie. I can barely remember one scene.

Anyone been on the Terminator ride in Florida? They go into the future and it's pretty cool. I think T3 should've been set in the future all along.

totally! jems cameron made some of the bets films, such as Aliens and Terminator 2. Anyway, in this on ei hope they show the war, and aculally END the series. that way we know that it can never be spoiled again.
