It'll be released in 3 days.

Features :
-Time control elements never before seen in any game - players can slow, stop and reverse the flow of time, affecting the world and enemies around them while moving freely through frozen worlds

-Time shifting obstacles will challenge the players to think in four dimensions in order to overcome difficult scenarios and defeat challenging enemies

-Next-generation graphics technology in the Saber3D engine, including normal mapping for amazing high-detailed textures and characters as well as parallax lighting, which allows the environment to come alive with detail

-Deep storyline involving time travel and betrayal, featuring an alternate time stream

-A wide array of unique weapons, vehicles, and operable gun turrets

-More than 30 combat missions, spanning outdoor, urban, aerial and indoor environments, each featuring unique time shifting elements and challenges

-Online multiplayer options that allow up to 16 players to use time based weaponry against other human adversaries

Cool. One of the forums I go to the owner is working on the game. Looking forward to it.

Sounds really cool I must DL (when it comes out)

They've put up a count down for a demo?! **** sake, it's bad enough when fanboi's do it for the game itself, but a demo? Attention whore much?

Ya ill be buying this game for sure. Seems really cool.

Whenever Gamespot gets an exclusive, they pretty much always put up a countdown.

Lawl a weapon that would freeze a certain spot of space in time would be hilarious
You'd shoot it at his groin and he would get stuck in space with his balls :D

From the screens, vids and previews, this game looks awesome. Looking forward to it.

Untill someone can prove that independent movement relative to time is possible (proven empirically to be impossible) I frown upon naming time the fourth dimension.

That said, I am definately going to give this demo a whirl. If the gameplay is solid and quality is aces it just might be my kinda game.

.bog.

i've got the demo from a PC gamer mag but it wont install.. :-(

tells me to clear my TEMP folder (done that)
tells me to close any other programs (did that)
and tells me to sign on to the net (i'm online right now, of course..)

arrrrgh!! demo's on my PC but won't install...

I got it in PC Gamer today too. About to install now so I'll be back with a review.

Personally, I'm not too impressed. It kinda reminds me of Duke Nukem with the cartoonish graphics and "funny" sounds. Also there's no way to strafe, "move left" actually makes you simply look left and you move nowhere.. so the controls feel kind of oldschool, like when games first used the mouse to look around and you had to hold "alt" to strafe. Maybe there's a way to strafe but it didn't work for me. Uhh the music and voice acting is really bad and the graphics are poorly optimized at this point, they should have ran better considering I thought they looked cartoonish and not too realistic. Fighting seemed fun, but overall it's one of the less serious and less realistic FPS... not sure if I'll buy this one. I like FPS that seem realistic and pretty real, not the "fun" ones where things are more of a joke.

I believe you failed to mention anything about the time-shifting aspects.

Story? Gameplay? Weapons? Enemies?

Fail.

Besides, you thought Quake 4 was awesome :P

I didn't think FEAR sucked actually, I thought it was hugely overrated and pretty average :O

I just played it again, and it really is the mediocre mapping that annoys me.
Everything else = Splendid + some kind of sauce tossed over it

Not interested in this game at all, but I'll try the demo when it's out and see if it's really nothing special.

I wouldn't want anyone to get their expectations up.

It could be a shitty console port.

It could just be terrible. Period.

You can use time once per minute. You can stop time, where everything pauses. Going forward is more like bullet time, where your moving fast thru time while everything is slow. Going back just rewinds what you've seen, but only for 10 seconds. I didnt think the time shifting aspect was that cool because the most you can go forward, pause, and back was 10 seconds. I was hoping for more ability to travel through time.. but the time thing is really combat / trap oriented. The flame and explosion effects are pretty cool, reminiscent of FEAR, they look good. The demo is also buggy, the first time I loaded it there was no enemies.. and today it missed a cutscene so I never knew these bad guys were behind me.

(By the way everyone should subscribe to PC Gamer. I mean for only $20 bucks a YEAR you get a sweet magazine and a cd or dvd every month with the latest demos. Skip a few milkshakes with your #3 and your there)

PC Gamer UK has really gone down the pan, I wouldn't waste my time and money on it.

Meh, Maybe the Gamespot demo will be different.
But either way I wasn't expecting much.

Hmm, it just might be because the game revolves around time and stuff :|

xlucidx has already said that they do it for every exclusive they get. :dork:

And I still say that it's an incredibly stupid and self indulgent thing to do. They're making out like they're got something really important when infact what they have is a demo, something every game should have prior to or just after release. End of.

This game's gonna be a success if it's from the developers i think it is.
Their previous game didn't do very well because it was labeled as a Serious Sam clone. Will Rock beats the shit out of the SS series.
I am definitely excited about this game.

...They did Will Rock?

Okay, All of my hope in this game has gone down the shitter.

That game was terrible... It does NOT beat anything out of the SS series.
At all.
Doesn't even come close.

It had very unsatisfying gameplay and horrible sounds... especially the voicework... It was cheesier than... uh... a block of cheese?

I did like the animations for certain enemies though and that they could spawn right behind you... and the graphics were okay.

And the fact that it didn't come with co-op multiplayer, brings down the score alot.

anyone who had my problem with installing a game, go here:
http://support.software602.com/kb/view.aspx?articleID=967

the demo in my opinion was WAY too short, and because of that I am questioning how long the game actually is. The replay value is probably a great value, considering you basically have a Tivo on your own life, LOL. Graphics were okay and the storyline seems to be decent. No HL2 but it does have some thought.

Wait, what are you talking about? It says in the site that the demo is released in T-minus 16 hours...

Is there any place to d/l this at a good speed? Without paying? Because at the current rate from Gamespot it's going to take me 15 hours more... and that's f*cking ridiculous
