I've just realised something interesting (well to me anyway, but I'm interested by stupid things
). If Valve go ahead with their simultaneous worldwide release plan, then people in Europe will be playing the game hours before people in the US.
Because of the time difference, by the time Americans get up on the day of release, the internet will already be flooded with threads, posts, articles and other things related to the game, since Europeans will have been playing away for 5, 6, 7, even 8 hours already.
I'd definitely advise not going online before heading to the shop anyway...
This thought doesn't actually have much point. I just thought it was a tad odd and interesting, but feel free to tell me I shouldn't have bothered.
