Troubleshooting!?!?

I had a quick question i was hoping you guys could help me out with i am getting an error message saying "error verifying steam user i.d. ticket"
im not sure what it means so i have no idea how to resolve it any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

log out -> log in of steam

didnt help i have no idea why this message is appearing i was playing last night fine and then wen i woke up and tryed to play it started appearing
