Valve crew stop responding to e-mails?

Seems as though the crew of Half-Life 2 has stoped answering e mails because I sent them one a week ago, but I never recieved a respose. Also the last bit of information posted in the thread from information from Valve thread was posted about a week ago.. Or 4 days.. Not quite sure

I haven't gotten an e-mail back since my flashlight e-mail a month ago :| I also e-mailed twice in the past week, and once between the time of the flashlight e-mail and my second last e-mail

There's never really been a point in time where everyone that writes is guaranteed a quick response, or any response. They answer what they want, when they decide, when they have time. If you look through the info thread, there are many "gaps" of time: don't think they necessarily mean anything, except maybe around the hacking incident where it might have been because they weren't trusting their email servers for a bit.

I doubt they will do a blackout for e3. Why? I mean, they wont answer spoiler info normally anyway, so it's not like they would be blacking out anything that they would answer anyway.

I wonder if e3 will debut multiplayer though.

No, they wouldn't do an more of a media blackout than they've been doing, period, no matter what they are showing at e3. Regardless, they are obviously going to be showing new stuff at e3, and these gaming mags are probably going to have new stuff too which will come out pre-e3.

I sort of wish they'd not show too much new stuff before the game actually comes out, cus I'm going to have a hard time not being spoiled by it.

Gah, I've only once gotten an email back from valve, If you don't get one from you're ONE email don't get upset, they probably get hundreds of emails from fans every day.

People really shouldn't complain about the game being sent back so many times if all they do is mail them every day, if they have to answer all those emails there will be no time for them to work.

I 'think' they might be stopping to respond to emails until the end of e3.
I think that at the end of the hl2 presentation they say "hl2 has just been shipped" or something..since gabe hasn't totally dismissed the 'grand master status' in an email towards him. ( check the info from valve thread)

Well, I hope you guys know, that when they prepare for E3, they dont just twiddle their thumbs. Its a very busy time, and stressful as well. They have to prepare a build that will present what ever they are intending to, with the utmost quality and most likely bug free. If they are as far as they should be, or propose to be (i guess thats not true, they havent proposed anything yet) it should be a near finished build. They will be showing new cool things, mp maybe, and other things. Its takes time, vs just keep working on the game for production.

I hope that makes sense. To break it down, they have to build an e3 version just for e3, and it takes time. So thats most likely they arent as active on email.
