im trying to make a keypad system similar to deus ex with the vgui system.
anyone have any idea how to link the effects of a vgui with the world (doors etc) how can i fire an entitys input with the vgui?
the best way i can think of (and the most efficient) would be to create a whole new entity for the keypad. but how can i encorporate vgui into a custom entity?
any thoughts?
