Video Mode Problem

I tryed to run Ep2 in a higher video mode than my screen could handle. now when I try to play it says video mode not suported and i cant see a thing. Iv tryed reinstaling Ep2 but that didnt work. Is there a diretory I can go to, to change the video mode without launching the game? or do I have to reistal steam altogetter??

Haha next time run Ep2 to recommended mode, and not to higher mode, I've tried this too with my old PC and the game was lagging.

do this. in steam right click the icon for the game choose properties and some where in there it will say something like "set start up .. something " i dont fully remember

-h = hight



I believe those are right.. any one feel free to correct me if im wrong.

go into the game at that point and change the res in the options to your desited setting.. and before starting the game the next time around.. delete the stuff u just put in above ( if you have an icon on the desktop, putting that into the target box works too )

Nice one mate that worked just fine!!!! saved me alot of time there !!! all I have to add is that you need to put spaces between the letters and numbers e.g

-w 1024 -h 768
