by the fact that the PS3's name was done in "Spider-Man" font? I don't know why, it's just really bugging me- it seems like they could easily come up with something more original... :/

Heh, I thought it was kind of a cheap knock-off too.

Didn't we establish this last year? But yes, I'm really surprised they didn't change it. I reckoned maybe it was a temporary font just because they liked it and couldn't think up anything better and don't have any imaginations. But now we know they really don't have any imagination after copying the Wii controller. It doesn't matter anyway because no one is going to buy the PS3 anyway.

Heh, I beg to differ. After all's said and done, I'd be willing to bet my house the PS3 will end up with the largest fanbase still.

Yeah, but it's nice to hold out a bit of hope. Which gives me some hope of having your house. XD

*checks your location*

EDIT: Your location gives me no joy.

Does anyone realize the Spiderman films are Sony Pictures? I'd say they have a right to use the font if they want to. Without Sony we might not have the Spiderman films.

But without Sony, we also might not have the hundred-million-strong rabid mass of PlayStation-or-bust fanboys that currently owns the console market.

Though I do like Spiderman...

Yeah, I did realise it. But that doesn't mean they need to use it. Why not use an imaginative logo like the 360 or Wii.
I admit that none of the logos this era are particularly interesting. The DS and PSP logos are the best.

I don't really care that the PS3 has the Spiderman font. I even think it's positive. It's like Sony put this big warning sign on their black console saying: "Disclaimer: everything of this console has been ripped from other developers, and don't your dare returning this console for being uninspiring. Have a safe day."

Yeah we might have a hundred million more rabid mass pc players that will buy pc parts and push up mass production on them and heavily lower the costs.

If you hadnt pointed it out I wouldnt have noticed. Maybe they thought it was a good font... and didnt realize it looks like the spiderman font?

Nope, cant be right? Because nothing like that ever happens in the world.

I noticed it right away also!

I'm not a Spidey-fan, a Sony pictures fan, a Sony fan, or a fan of this font, but I guess it doesn't matter what I think. I don't think it would have mattered one way or the other to me if they used a different font.

I was wondering why they had the spiderman movie playing on the demo PSP at the store a while back. It's all so clear now.

It is a bit cheap but i don't realy care because it will not change the way you play a game on it.
